It was a 'no-brainer' that one of my first design inspirations is the Tasmanian Devil. Why? Because I live on the beautiful island of Tasmania and the little marsupial is as iconic as the Eifel Tower is to Paris. Warner Brothers even made a Loony Tune character based on the Tasmanian Devil (Taz).

In real life, the little creatures are secretive and cryptic, and very hard to find. They are most active at night and are vicious scavengers. Known locally for their snarling, argumentative nature. On a serious note, the population here in Tasmania has been decimated by a form of facial cancer and the little guys are in serious trouble. You can learn more here

Design notes:
The features that motivated my Tassie Devil design are the white chest stripe and pink ears.

Can you see the resemblance? Having an 'oh yeah!' moment or a 'its more abstract than Picasso' moment? Comment below.
